Kopi Suka Cita means Joy Coffee. It's a coffee social enterprise and a home base, and every bag is a small piece of proof that hard seasons can grow into something genuinely good.

Kopi Suka Cita is part of New Creation Adult and Teen Challenge in Medan, North Sumatra. The coffee program was created to give women in our residential program more than a temporary activity: real responsibility, useful skills, confidence, and the experience of creating something customers genuinely value.
We partner with a professional roastery that roasts our coffee to special order. Our paid coffee consultant, a certified Q Grader, oversees that relationship, performs quality assurance, and teaches the women how to understand coffee at a professional level: how origin, processing, roast, aroma, flavor and brewing change the cup.

A professional roasting partner roasts the coffee for Kopi Suka Cita. Our Q Grader consultant manages the relationship and helps ensure consistency and quality.
Prepared by the women
The women grind to order, weigh, package, seal and label the roasted coffee, learning quality, consistency, presentation and fulfillment.
Shared with confidence
Training in tasting, cupping and hospitality helps the women become knowledgeable ambassadors who can serve customers and lead coffee experiences. Our students use this time to share their personal testimonies of growth and new life.
